This magnificent book demonstrates the methodology of facial diagnosis in children of all ages, including the new born. All common conditions in which facial diagnosis is important are to be found together with many diagnostic rarities. 

Many of the facies portrayed in the book are ones which are often presented to candidates in undergraduate and postgraduate examinations.

This Atlas is not, however, solely concerned with malformation syndromes with associated facial dysmorphism although these congenital groupings anomalies are well represented. Other major groupings of paediatric disorders covered include selected dermatological problems, infections, neonatal hypothermia, teratology, anomalous growth, chromosomal abnormalities as well as endocrine, enzyme, neurological, muscle, connective tissue, pigmentary and emotional disturbances.
